HUNTING

INTRODUCTION TO HUNTING IN ARGENTINA

As the Europeans settled the far corners of the world, they brought their sporting traditions and heritages with them. Not only did they introduce trout to the magnificent rivers of Argentina, but they also introduced the red stag and the boar.

Andes Drifters stag hunts take place on a 24,000-acre estancia (a large, rural estate) bordered by Lanín National Park. You will stay in our Las Breñas lodge on the banks of the famed Aluminé River. This mountaintop hunter’s refuge is like no other in the world. It is located on terrain high in the Andean Range, where the noise of civilization is replaced by the pleasing sounds of nature, such as the bugle of the wild stag.

Our hunts are six-day hunting and fishing adventures. You are allowed one silver or bronze class stag per hunter, as scored by Safari Club International (SCI). If you kill your stag early, you can spend the balance of the week fishing with one of our talented guides on the Aluminé River.
