We only work with top quality equipment that is well maintained. If any equipment becomes damaged it is promptly repaired or replaced. This is essential for you to better enjoy your time on the water and for every ones safety.

All of our rafts are self-bailing and fitted with a full aluminum fishing frame. The frames are equipped with swivel seats fore and aft, leg braces fore and aft and hard floors to stand on. These rafts are extremely comfortable and allow us to access a wide range of water. Toyota Hilux 4×4’s are our vehicle of choice because they stand-up to the demanding terrain. On the Parana River we utilize 17 foot North Carolina Skiffs that have comfortable casting platforms fore and aft. The boats are roomy and allow two anglers to fishing simultaneously. All boats are equipped with 90hp, four-stroke engines and fitted with bow mounted, remote controlled electric trolling engines.  When we fish the lakes in Northern Patagonia we use 16 and 18 foot tracker boats which allow two anglers to fish simultaneously. These boats are equipped with either a 70hp or 90hp engines and fitted with bow mounted, remote controlled electric trolling engines.and rowing oarset.

One very unique feature when you fish with Andes Drifters is that all of your flies are included. This alleviates you having to worry about not have the right pattern, the right size or the right color. Our guides know which fly works and they have plenty of supply. Each guide carries his own satellite phone or VHF radio for communication. They also carry spare rods, reels, tippet, leaders, sunscreen and first aid kit. Most of our guests prefer to fish with their own rods, reels, boots, waders etc. However, if you are not traveling with your own gear we can fully equip you. We have a full assortment of high quality rods, reels, boots and waders. Let us know in advance of your arrival what you need and we’ll take care of it.
